"Centering Prayer” is a contemporary name for the classical contemplative Christian practice of opening ourselves to the indwelling presence of God through silent meditation. The first half of our weekly gathering will be devoted to learning about Centering Prayer from the classic introduction by Trappist monk Thomas Keating, and in the second half we will practice Centering Prayer together.
