Spirituality-and-Prayer

Spirituality & Prayer

At STM, students have many opportunities to deepen
their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Spirituality Groups
.The Men's and Women's Spirituality Groups provide students a supportive environment in which to explore spiritual issues particular to their experience as Catholics through book studies, shared meals and honest conversation.

Vocation Discernment
Join with students in prayer and discussion as you explore how to discern your gifts and talents to best serve the church. Visit our Vocation Page here.

Retreats
Retreats offer an opportunity to step away from the distractions of everyday life and spend time with God and peers in a unique way. STM hosts retreats for Undergraduate and Graduates each semesters. Retreats include a First-Year Retreat, mini-retreats for specific student groups, busy-person retreats at the end of each semester and day-long and overnight offsite retreats.

Pastoral Counseling, Vocational Discernment & Spiritual Direction
STM's Chaplains provide pastoral counseling for students seeking a confidant or direction during a difficult or questioning time in their lives. They also provide spiritual direction by accompanying students as they deepen their relationship with God and offer assistance with vocational discernment through individual prayer and discussion.

Adoration
Adoration is offered monthly in the Chapel during the academic year.

Stations of the Cross
Each Friday during Lent, different student groups lead the Stations of the Cross.
