By participating in Songs for Soup, you directly impact our soup kitchen, providing nourishment and care to New Haven’s homeless and underserved communities. Additionally, your contribution fuels our Alternative Spring Break Trips and STM's Solidarity in the City program, empowering students to embark on transformative journeys of service and advocacy, both locally and abroad.
This year is our 41st year since the STM Soup Kitchen first opened its doors. Every Wednesday from October to April, our dedicated volunteers and worshiping community have come together to serve approximately 500 guests per week, embodying the spirit of compassion and community.
