Good and Gracious God,
Your love for me is unconditional,
Your mercy is the foundation of my hope.
Help me to embrace the hope your offer me.
When it seems the world is against me,
when pride stops me from asking for help,
when I feel that no one is listening.
I remember your gift of hope,
and gratitude envelopes me.
Hope is the engine that propels me from darkness.
